clock work-book
In class we were reading Clock Work, Clock Work is a very emotional story with many features of fiction. In the story there was "LOVE": at the end of the story Gretel was humming a tune to Sir Ironsoul. "THRILL" tingles up your spine when the Baron jumped off the sled to sacrifice himself for King Otto and Prince Florian from a pack of wolves. "BRAVERY" when King Otto gave up his heart for Prince Florian. "Fear" is what I felt when I listened to the part where Ironsoul killed Karl. There is also a lot of "HORROR" when you hear the word: man slaughter or blood dripping you immediately freak-out (like me). My opinion is that the story was very interesting and has well chosen words of description. This book is AWESOME maybe you should read it?

Speeches!
This term we're doing speeches and I did mine on bullying because I believe that by making my speech I can have a positive impact on people's attitudes to this disturbing behaviour. I think I will do really well, I sort of like to talk in front of crowds but I get nervous easily.

BULLYING IS NOT AN OPTION!!!

Rubber Races
Aimee and I (Lauren) have been understanding how
to make a car roll forward using a rubber band.
How did we do?:
Well, to be honest we did well at the start because we used
a thin rubber band and then we found out that you have
to use a thick rubber band! So we put on a thick rubber
band and started to roll the rubber band when we heard
a snap (it wasn't that loud) and when we put it down to
see it move it only went 2mm! We were a little disappointed
but we tried our best!
At the races:
My friend Bianca did REALLY well 'cause she won. Before
she raced she told me she was really nervous and at the end
I think it paid off because her car was zooooming down the
runway it was AWESOME!!!
